The Italian Serie A club Juventus has announced that their manager, Massimiliano Allegri, will not be affected by his retirement from football.
Allegri has been in charge of the team since 2011 and has led them to numerous victories, including three consecutive Serie A titles and two UEFA Champions League victories. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in the history of football.
In a statement released on the club's official website, Allegri said: "I am proud to have played a role in helping Juventus reach the pinnacle of football and I want to thank all my teammates,Saudi Pro League Highlights staff and supporters for their support over the years."
The decision to retire was made after careful consideration and consultation with the club's medical staff. Allegri plans to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests outside of football.
Chievo Verona manager Antonio Conte, who has also had a successful career as a player and coach, praised Allegri's legacy at Juventus.
